The Indian Army has invited applications from unmarried male engineering graduates for the 145th Technical Graduate Course (TGC-145) starting July 2027 at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, leading to a Permanent Commission. Each stream accepts specific degree nomenclatures listed in para 3 of the notification; mismatch leads to cancellation.
Educational Qualification
- BE/B.Tech (or M.Sc Computer Science) in a notified engineering stream.
- Final-year students may apply but must submit degree and all marksheets by 01 Jul 2027 and meet the stream cut-off.
- Unmarried male candidates; Indian citizens (and other categories listed in para 2.1).
Age Limit
20 to 27 years as on 01 Jul 2027 – born not earlier than 01 Jul 2000 and not later than 30 Jun 2007.

Officer cadets get a fixed stipend of ₹56,100 per month during about 12 months of training; commission as Lieutenant with one year ante-date seniority.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting by stream-wise cut-off percentage of degree marks.
- SSB interview (up to 5 days) at Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru or Jalandhar.
- Medical examination.
- Joining letter in order of merit as per vacancies.
