The Indian Army has opened applications for the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES) – 57 Course with 90 vacancies for unmarried male candidates who passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths (aggregate 60%) and appeared in JEE Main 2026. Apply online at joinindianarmy.nic.in from 14/10/2026 to 12/11/2026. There is no application fee.

Eligibility
- Unmarried male Indian citizens (or as per the notification).
- 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, minimum 60% aggregate in PCM.
- Must have appeared in JEE (Main) 2026. Shortlisting is based on the JEE Main score.
Age Limit
Born between 01/01/2008 and 01/01/2011 (both dates inclusive). No age relaxation.

Salary
Stipend of ₹56,100 per month during the IMA phase. On commission: Lieutenant, Level 10 (₹56,100–1,77,500) plus Military Service Pay of ₹15,500 and allowances.

- City classes (HRA): X = Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Greater Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune. Y and Z cities are as listed by the Department of Expenditure (OM 21.07.2015). HRA is not paid if you live in government quarters.
- DA: 60% of basic pay, the central rate from 1 Jan 2026.
- TA: The X column uses the higher rate for listed big cities. Y and Z use the rate for other places; some Y cities (e.g. Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna) get the higher rate.
- Armed forces: NPS and CGHS do not apply. Military Service Pay and other service allowances are not included.
- Not included: income tax (depends on your regime and declarations), group insurance (CGEGIS), professional tax and special allowances (e.g. NPA, MSP, risk or hardship allowances). Pay is for the entry cell; the official notification prevails.
