Sarkari Job Selection (sarkarijobselection.com) publishes government job notifications, admit cards, results, salary guides and exam tools for candidates across India. This page explains how we research, write, check and update that information.
Who writes and checks our pages
Our pages are written and reviewed by our editorial team: Arvind Kumar (Editor, Government Jobs) and Naveen Singh (Researcher, Recruitment and Exams). Every page shows the name of the editor responsible for it. You can read more about them on our About page.
Sources we use
- Official sources first. Every job, admit card and result page is based on the official notification, website or press release of the recruiting body (for example SSC, UPSC, RRB, state PSCs, state selection boards, banks, PSUs and courts).
- Each page links directly to the official notification PDF and the official apply, admit card or result link wherever one is available.
- When an official website is down or a notice has only been reported by other publishers, we say so on the page and mark the details as provisional until we can confirm them from the official source.
How we check facts
- Post counts, eligibility, age limits, fees and important dates are checked against the official notification before a page is published.
- Salary figures are estimates based on the 7th CPC pay matrix. For central government posts we use the current central Dearness Allowance (60% of Basic Pay) and HRA by city class (X 30%, Y 20%, Z 10%). State and PSU pay follows the employer’s own rules, and the official notification always prevails.
- Dates are shown in Indian format, and “days left” counters are based on the official last date.
Updates
Recruitment changes often. When a last date is extended, a corrigendum is issued, or an admit card, answer key or result is released, we update the relevant page and change the “last updated” date. Closed jobs remain online for reference but are clearly marked.
Independence
Sarkari Job Selection is an independent information website. We are not affiliated with any government department or recruiting body, and we never charge candidates for job information. We do not accept payment to publish or change any recruitment information. The site is supported by display advertising, which does not influence our content.
