Separate exams for each post code. MCQ qualifying marks: UR/EWS 50%; OBC (Delhi)/SC/ST/PwBD/ESM 45%. One mark per question; 0.25 negative marking. PwBD objective papers for Process Server and Peon allow 160 minutes instead of 120.
- 805/26 Senior PA and PA: Tier I MCQ 90 marks / 90 min; Tier II descriptive English 75 marks; Tier III shorthand and typing (qualifying); Tier IV interview 10 marks. Merit: Tier II + interview.
- 806/26 JJA: Tier I MCQ 120; Tier II descriptive 100; Tier III typing 40 wpm (qualifying); Tier IV interview 15. Merit: Tier II + interview.
- 807/26 Process Server: Tier I bilingual MCQ 100; Tier II driving test (qualifying); Tier III interview 15. Merit: Tier I + interview.
- 808/26 Peon: Tier I bilingual MCQ 100; Tier II interview 15. Merit: both tiers.
DSSSB conducts the written and skill tests. Delhi District Courts (Tis Hazari) conduct the driving test and interview and prepare the final merit. CBT marks are normalised where DSSSB’s formula applies.
Syllabus
Graduate posts: English and comprehension, general knowledge and general intelligence, plus descriptive essay, grammar and translation. Matric posts: English, Hindi, general knowledge and arithmetic, bilingual. Skill tests follow the speeds in the advertisement (Senior PA dictation 110 wpm class, PA 100 wpm, typing 40 wpm).
Selection Method
Shortlisting ratios are in the scheme (up to 25 times vacancies for several Tier-I lists, then about 10 times for skill tests). Interview has no minimum qualifying mark. If marks tie, the older candidate ranks higher; if dates of birth match, English first-name alphabetical order is used. Post and department choices are made at interview and cannot be changed later. E-dossier upload is compulsory after shortlisting.
Exam Centres
Centres will be on the admit card. DSSSB may change centres. A dress code applies in the exam hall (light half-sleeve clothing, no shoes). Phones and electronic gadgets are banned.
