Latest Update (December 2025): Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official SSC GD Constable 2026 Notification on 1st December 2025, announcing 25,487 Constable (GD) vacancies in BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, Assam Rifles, SSF and NCB. This is the largest 10th-pass recruitment for Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) in 2026.
Online applications will start from 02 December 2025 and close on 31 December 2025 (23:00 hrs) at ssc.gov.in. CBT exam is scheduled for February-March 2026. Pay Level-3 (₹21,700 – ₹69,100) + allowances.

Selection Process for SSC GD 2026
- Computer Based Test (CBT): 80 Questions, 160 Marks, 60 Minutes
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Running (Qualifying)
- Physical Standard Test (PST): Height, Chest, Weight Measurement
- Document Verification (DV): Original certificates check
- Medical Examination (DME): Final fitness test

- Visit ssc.gov.in → Complete OTR (One-Time Registration)
- Fill Online Application Form → Upload live photo (no cap/spectacles)
- Enter Domicile State/District (your state's vacancies only)
- Upload signature & thumb impression (10-50 KB)
- Pay ₹100 fee (if applicable) → Submit → Take printout
Note: Aadhaar authentication recommended for photo/signature verification. Correction window: 08-10 Jan 2026 (₹200/₹500 fee).
