Is a GATE score required for IOCL Executive Recruitment 2026?
No. This recruitment is conducted entirely through IOCL's dedicated Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by GD/GT and Personal Interview. GATE score is NOT required.
Can B.E. / B.Tech or MBA holders apply for Diploma Engineer (Grade E0) posts?
No. Candidates holding higher professional degrees like B.E., B.Tech, MBA, MCA, CA, or Ph.D are strictly ineligible to apply for Diploma Engineer (Grade E0) positions. Suppression of higher qualifications will lead to immediate disqualification.
Can final-year / final-semester students apply?
Candidates who can produce their final degree certificate or marksheets with the minimum prescribed aggregate percentage on or before 30 September 2026 are eligible to apply.

IOCL Executive 2026 – Critical Candidate Instructions (Prevent Rejection!)
Ensure strict compliance with the following mandatory directives:
- Live Photo Matching: Both the uploaded passport photograph and the system-captured live photograph must clearly match your physical appearance during GD/GT and Personal Interview.
- Signature Guidelines: Signatures written in CAPITAL LETTERS will be summarily rejected. Ensure your left thumb impression is clean and non-smudged.
- Valid Certificate Validity Dates: OBC (NCL) and EWS certificates must have been issued on or after 01.04.2026 by the competent authority in the prescribed central government format.
