DLRS Assam Land Record Assistant Recruitment 2026: 579 LRA Posts for RCCC-Passed Candidates
The Director of Land Records & Surveys, Assam has issued Advertisement No. DLR-11013(21)/50/2025/372 dated 19 September 2026 for 579 Land Record Assistant (LRA) posts in the amalgamated establishment of District Commissioners' offices (except Sixth Schedule areas). It cancels the earlier advertisement dated 14/03/2026, so fresh applications are invited. Only candidates who passed the RCCC training can apply. Eligibility
- Passed the six-month Recorders Certificate Class Course (RCCC) at the Assam Survey & Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, and declared proficient in both Survey and Settlement by an official DLRS result issued before Govt. notification LA&A/429557/158 dated 13/08/2026.
- Computer proficiency with typing of at least 30 wpm in English and 15 wpm in Assamese/Bengali.
- Government servants apply through proper channel and produce an NOC at document verification.
Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)
21 to 40 years. Relaxation for reserved categories as per Govt. OM No. ABP.6/2016/51 dated 02/09/2020. Age is taken from the Class X/XII admit card or certificate.
Salary
Pay Band-2: ₹14,000–70,000 + Grade Pay ₹6,200, plus allowances admissible under Assam Government rules.

Selection Process
- Written exam (Paper-I): 80 marks MCQ – Mathematics (Class X) 10, Conventional Survey 50, Modern Survey 20. Negative marking 0.25.
- Skill test (Paper-II): 20 marks – English and Assamese/Bengali typing.
- Minimum marks: UR 40 written + 10 skill (50%); OBC/MOBC/ST/SC/PwD 32 + 8 (40%).
- Document verification, then a final merit list on aggregate marks with category-wise reservation.

- Read the instructions and fill in the online application form.
- Upload a recent passport-size colour photograph, signature and RCCC pass certificate in the sizes given.
- Submit by 5 PM on 21/10/2026 and print the form. No other mode of application is accepted.
