Eligibility

Bachelor's degree from a recognised institute / university.
Two years' experience as Junior Assistant or an equivalent post in a university, research establishment, Central/State Government, PSU or autonomous body, or an equivalent pay package in a reputed private company/bank with turnover of ₹200 crore or more.
Typing speed: English 35 wpm or Hindi 30 wpm, with proficiency in computer operations.

Age Limit

Maximum age: 32 years.
Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC, PwBD, ex-servicemen and other categories as per Central Government orders adopted by DU.

Exam Pattern

Stage 1 – Preliminary (MCQ): 100 questions, 200 marks, 2 hours 30 minutes; General Studies, Reasoning and Mathematical ability, functioning of higher education institutions. For shortlisting only.
Stage 2 – Main exam: 200 marks, 2 hours; educational administration and management, rules in higher education institutions. Merit is drawn from this exam.
Skill test (typing) after the main exam.
