Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD), a Delhi state university, has issued Advertisement No. AUD/55-1(127)/Rect./2026/1008 dated 28 September 2026 for 56 non-teaching posts. Of these, 54 are direct recruitment (including 40 Junior Assistant / Junior Assistant-cum-Caretaker, 6 Senior Assistant, 4 Section Officer and 2 Staff Nurse) and 2 are on deputation (Internal Audit Officer, System Administrator). PwBD (horizontal): 1 Section Officer, 1 Senior Assistant and 3 Junior Assistant posts (OH, VH, HH). The 2 deputation posts are open only to serving officers (initial deputation term 1 year).
Eligibility
- Junior Assistant: 10+2 and computer typing at 35 wpm English or 30 wpm Hindi. Junior Assistant-cum-Caretaker also needs an ITI trade certificate in Civil/Plumbing.
- Junior Library Assistant: B.Lib.Sc / B.L.I.Sc, computer knowledge, typing 35/30 wpm.
- Staff Nurse: B.Sc (Hons) Nursing, RN/RN-RM registration, 6 months' experience in a hospital of at least 50 beds.
- Sports Coach (Female): Bachelor's/Master's in Physical Education + Diploma in Sports Coaching.
- Senior Assistant: Bachelor's degree + 5 years' experience at Level-4 (or equivalent).
- Section Officer: PG (50%) + 3 years at Sr. Assistant level, or Graduate (50%) + 5 years.
- Deputation posts: serving officers in analogous/feeder grades as specified.
Age Limit
Maximum age as on the last date: Junior Assistant & Junior Library Assistant 27; Staff Nurse 30; Section Officer, Senior Assistant & Sports Coach 35; deputation 56. Relaxation as per University rules/Government orders.
Salary
7th CPC Pay Levels with usual allowances: Level-2 (Junior Assistant), Level-3, Level-5, Level-6 (Senior Assistant, Staff Nurse), Level-7 (Section Officer), Level-10 and Level-12 (deputation).
