Arunachal Pradesh PSC CCE 2026: 135 APCS, APPS, CDPO, Labour Officer, Inspector and ASO Posts
The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has issued Advertisement No. 5/2026 (No. PSC-R/13/2026, dated 07 September 2026) for the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive Examination-2026 (APPSCCE-2026). It covers 135 Group A and B posts, including 60 APCS (Entry Grade), 10 APPS (Entry Grade) and 38 Assistant Section Officers. Only permanent residents of Arunachal Pradesh with APST status can apply. Eligibility
- Education: graduate degree from a UGC-recognised university. Final-year candidates may apply but must show proof of passing at the Mains interview.
- Residence: Indian citizen holding a valid Arunachal Pradesh Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC).
- Indigenous status: Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST) certificate.
- Language: able to speak an indigenous tribal language of Arunachal Pradesh, as per Govt. notification dated 26/08/2026.
- APPS candidates must also meet the physical, PET and medical standards in the APPS Rules.
Age Limit (as on 20 October 2026)
21 to 35 years. Relaxation: APST up to 5 years; APST defence personnel disabled in operations up to 8 years; APST PwBD up to 15 years; government servants as per rules.
Selection Process
- Prelims (objective): Paper-I General Studies, 200 marks, 2 hrs (counts for qualifying). Paper-II CSAT, 200 marks, 2 hrs (qualifying, minimum 33%). Negative marking applies.
- About 12 times the vacancies are admitted to Mains.
- Mains: 8 descriptive papers. English (300) is qualifying at 33%. Essay, GS-I to IV and two optional papers total 1,750 marks (33% aggregate and 20% per paper; PwBD 20%/10%).
- Interview: 275 marks, at about a 1:3 ratio.
How to Apply
- Complete One Time Registration (OTR) on appsc.gov.in (skip if already registered).
- Log in and fill in the APPSCCE-2026 (Preliminary) application.
- Upload signature (40–50 KB JPG), photograph (40–100 KB JPG) and the required certificates.
- Pay ₹200 online and submit before 5 PM on 20/10/2026. Submit only one application; if several are filed, only the highest RID counts.
