Educational Qualification
- Post Codes 01–03 and 05–13: Bachelor's degree from a university established under a Central/State/Provincial Act or an institution recognised by the UGC, or equivalent.
- Post Code 04 – DSP (Communications): B.E/B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, or Radio Engineering.
- Physical requirements apply to Post Codes 03 and 04 (see the Detailed Notification).
- Qualification must be held on the date of the Detailed Notification.
Age Limit
Age limits vary by post and are given in the Detailed Notification. The brief notification does not state them. Relaxation for reserved categories follows AP Government rules.
Pay Scale
₹54,060–1,40,540 (Municipal Commissioner Gr-II, ATO/AAO, DEO-Employment, AAO) up to ₹65,360–1,54,980 (Divisional Development Officer). Deputy Collector, ACST, DSP and DEO: ₹61,960–1,51,370.
Selection Process
- Screening Test (offline, OMR): Paper-I General Studies (120 Q, 120 marks, 120 min) and Paper-II General Aptitude (120 Q, 120 marks, 120 min). 1/3 negative marking.
- Mains (descriptive): qualifying Telugu and English papers (150 marks each), plus five papers of 150 marks each: General Essay; History, Culture & Geography; Polity, Constitution, Governance, Law & Ethics; Economy & Development of India and AP; Science, Technology & Environment.
- Then interview/document verification as per the Detailed Notification.
