Eligibility
- Research Scientist: Ph.D. in Chemistry, Geology, Chemical Engg or Petroleum Engg with a 2-year Master's (60%), plus 4 years' experience.
- Sr Officer (Mechanical): B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (60%).
- Sr Officer (Petroleum): Master's in Petroleum Engineering/Technology (60%) with an engineering degree.
- Sr Accounts Officer / Internal Auditor: CA (ICAI) or CMA (ICMAI).
- Hindi Officer: PG in Hindi with English (or as per notice) plus experience. Confidential Secretary: graduate with shorthand/typing and experience, as per notice.
Age Limit
As on 14/11/2026, post-wise (see the table). Relaxation: OBC (NCL) 3 years, SC/ST 5 years, PwBD 10 years extra.

Salary
Grade C: ₹80,000–2,20,000. Grade B: ₹60,000–1,80,000. Grade A: ₹50,000–1,60,000. All are IDA scales with DA, perks (cafeteria approach), PRP and other benefits as per OIL rules.
Selection Process
- Computer Based Test
- Personal Interview (CBT 85 : PI 15), or a skill/proficiency test for the Confidential Secretary post
- Document verification and medical examination
