Eligibility
- Peon: 10th pass.
- Assistant Grade-3, Store Keeper, DEO: Graduate (or 12th + the prescribed diploma for some posts) with a one-year computer diploma and a typing certificate.
- Technical / Research Assistant: Relevant post-graduate degree with 2 years' experience. Lab Technician / Lab Assistant / Accounts / Library Assistant: qualification as per the advertisement.
- Permanent resident of Chhattisgarh (mandatory). Qualification cut-off date: 04/11/2026.
Age Limit
As on 01/01/2026: minimum 18 years (Peon) or 21 years (Group C), and maximum 45 years including all Chhattisgarh relaxations.

Salary
Chhattisgarh 7th pay matrix: Level 1 (Peon), Level 4 (AG-3, Store Keeper, Lab/Library Assistant), Level 6 (DEO, Lab Technician, Accounts Assistant), Level 8 (Research Assistant) and Level 9 (Technical Assistant).
Exam Pattern
OMR-based objective exam: 120 questions/120 marks in 2 hours for Group C posts and 100 questions/100 marks in 2 hours for Peon. No negative marking, minimum 30% to qualify. Then a skill/practical test of 30 marks (50% to qualify, up to 10 candidates per post). Final merit: written score scaled to 60 + practical 30 + up to 10 for SMKV daily-wage experience.
