Civil includes 50 PwD posts (horizontal) and 8 sports-person posts; 612 Civil posts are backlog vacancies. Civil departments: Water Resources, Works, Housing & Urban Development (preference order is final).
Eligibility
- AEE (Civil): Degree in Civil Engineering or AMIE (Civil) + valid GATE score in Civil Engineering.
- AEE (Mechanical): Degree in Mechanical Engineering or AMIE (Mechanical) + valid GATE score in Mechanical Engineering.
- Only GATE 2024, 2025 or 2026 QR-coded score cards accepted; marks must be at/above the category qualifying mark.
- Must read, write and speak Odia (certificate as prescribed).
Age Limit
21–42 years as on 01/01/2026 (born between 02/01/1984 and 01/01/2005). Relaxation: 5 years SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-SM; 10 years PwD (15 cumulative for reserved PwD). Degree-holder JEs of Diploma Engineers' Service up to 45 years.
Salary
Level-12, Cell-1 of ORSP Rules 2017 Pay Matrix (₹56,100 entry) plus DA and allowances.
