- Further relaxation for government servants, widows, ex-servicemen and PwD as per rules.

Selected candidates come under the National Pension System (NPS) and serve a 2-year probation.
Selection Process
- Peon: shortlist 1:10 on percentage of marks in the qualifying exam, then a 10-mark interview; select list on interview marks.
- Process Server: shortlist 1:25 on qualifying exam marks, then a 10-mark interview; select list on interview marks.
- Copyist-Typist / Typist: 15-minute Kannada and English dictation typing skill test on computer (100 marks each, minimum 50 in each), shortlist 1:5, interview (5% weight); final list on combined marks.
