Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has notified the Combined Technical Services Examination (Interview Posts) under Advertisement No. 741 / Notification No. 8/2026 dated 31/08/2026 for 170 vacancies across 31 post names. Online applications are open from 07/09/2026 to 06/10/2026 (11:59 PM) at tnpscexams.in.

Eligibility (summary)
Qualifications differ by post — from Bachelor's degrees to CA/ICWA, B.V.Sc., B.E./B.Tech., M.V.Sc., MBA (Finance), nautical certificates, shorthand/typewriting, etc. Minimum age 21 years as on 01/07/2026; maximum age varies by post and category. See Notification No. 8/2026 Annexures for post-wise EQ, experience and age.
Selection / Exam Pattern
Selection through Written Examination (Paper I & Paper II) followed by Interview. Final ranking is based on combined marks (grand total 510 as described in the notification). Exact paper schedule will be announced on tnpsc.gov.in.

- Complete / renew One Time Registration at tnpscexams.in if needed (₹150).
- Open CTSE Interview Posts application (Notfn 8/2026 / Advt 741).
- Fill details, choose subject paper(s), upload documents and pay exam fee.
- Submit by 06/10/2026, 11:59 PM. Use correction window 10–12 Oct 2026 if required.
