Eligibility
- HC/GD: 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised Board/University (or equivalent Army qualification).
- CT/GD: Matriculation or equivalent.
- Meritorious male/female sportspersons with representation at Country / State-UT / University / School level in recognised competitions as listed in the notification, within the eligible achievement window.
Age Limit (as on 01/08/2026)
18 to 23 years (DoB not before 02/08/2003 and not after 01/08/2008). Sports-quota relaxations: UR +5, OBC +8, SC/ST +10, Ex-SM higher as tabulated in the notification.

Selection Method (no written exam)
- Merit list from sports achievement marks (Olympic/World/Asian/National scale as in notification).
- Physical Standard Test (PST).
- Qualifying Sports Trial Test.
- Medical examination.
Selected candidates must execute a ₹1,00,000 bond to serve at least 3 years.
