Physical Standards & PET

Height: men 163 cm (UR/SC/OBC), 150 cm (ST); women 153 cm (UR/SC/OBC), 148 cm (ST).
Chest (men): 79 cm unexpanded / 84 cm expanded (ST 74 / 79 cm), with at least 5 cm expansion. Women are exempt.
Physical efficiency test (100 marks): long jump, high jump, shot put, 100 m and 800 m race, 20 marks each. Qualifying marks 60 (UR) / 50 (SC/ST/OBC).

Salary

Pay Matrix Level-4 as approved by the Chhattisgarh Government, plus allowances.

Exam Pattern

Written test: 50 marks, objective; general knowledge, reasoning, local geography, culture, social values and arithmetic. Up to 15 times the posts are called.
Interview: 20 marks; up to 3 times the posts are called.
Bonus (max 30): heavy motor driving licence 5, NCC 'C' or NSS 'C' certificate 5, knowledge of local dialect 20.
