PWD JE (Electrical) 231 split: UR 120, SC 38, ST 4, OBC 46, EWS 23. Department-wise reservation for every entry is in Table-1 of the advertisement.
Eligibility
- UPSSSC PET-2025: Must have appeared in PET-2025 and hold its score card. Mains shortlisting is on the normalised PET-2025 score.
- JE / Technical Assistant (Electrical): 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Board of Technical Education, UP, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.
- Electrician, Research Assistant and corporation posts: post-wise diploma qualification as listed in para 6 of the advertisement.
Age Limit
18–40 years for the JE (Electrical) posts (21–40 years for Research Assistant), reckoned on 1 July as per each post's service rules. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and other notified categories as per UP Government rules.

Salary
Level-6: ₹35,400–1,12,400 for posts on the revised pay matrix; PWD JE (Electrical): ₹9,300–34,800 + Grade Pay ₹4,200; some corporation/university posts on ₹9,300–34,800 or ₹5,200–20,200 bands (post-wise in Table-1).

Exam Pattern
Main written exam: 100 objective questions, 100 marks, 2 hours (120 minutes). 25% negative marking per wrong answer. Part-1 covers electrical engineering (basic electrical, magnetic circuits, AC fundamentals & machines, measurements, DC machines & transformers, alternators and more) as per para 9 of the advertisement.
