Syllabus
- Paper 1 follows the mother-tongue syllabus approved by the Jharkhand Academic Council, at matric level.

Selection Method
Merit is on the main exam after the mother-tongue qualifying bar (and the 33% bar in the graduate optional paper). Document verification of education, training, caste, local-resident and experience certificates follows. If marks are equal, the older candidate is placed higher. If date of birth is also the same, the tie-break follows the Department of Personnel norms cited in the brochure. Exam entry is provisional.
Exam Centres
The Commission will notify the schedule. The admit card is downloaded from the JSSC website only and is not sent by post. Mobile phones and electronic devices are not allowed in the centre.
