BEL Assistant Security Officer Recruitment 2026: Apply by 02 June
Latest Update (May 13, 2026): Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navaratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence, has released the official notification (Advt. No. 383/HR/Asst. Sec Off/25-26) for the recruitment of Assistant Security Officers (ASO) on a permanent basis.
This recruitment is specifically targeted at Ex-Servicemen who held a JCO grade in the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Central Paramilitary Organizations. Vacancies are available for units in Bengaluru, Ghaziabad, Hyderabad, and other locations. Eligible candidates can apply online from May 13, 2026, until June 02, 2026.

| Educational Qualification | Degree in any discipline from a recognized University. Minimum "Pass Class" required. |
| Post-Qualification Experience | Candidate MUST have been in JCO Grade at the time of leaving the Army / Navy / Air Force / Central Paramilitary Organizations. |

Selection Process & Exam Pattern
Selection will be based on two stages, both to be conducted in Bengaluru only.
The test is tentatively scheduled for June/July 2026. Minimum qualifying marks: 35% for Gen/OBC and 30% for SC/ST.
Candidates who clear the written test will be called for an interview. Outstation candidates will be reimbursed III Tier AC/Chair Car rail fare.

- Ensure you have a valid and active email ID (all communications will be sent via email/SMS).
- Fill in the personal details, category, and educational qualifications.
- Document Upload: You must upload your latest color photo, signature, matriculation certificate (for age proof), degree mark sheets, and the mandatory Discharge Certificate/Experience documents.
- Submit the application before the deadline of 02 June 2026.
- Take a printout of the submitted form for future reference. Hard copies should NOT be sent to the BEL office.

BEL ASO 2026 – Important Instructions (Prevent Rejection!)
- JCO Grade Requirement: If you were not in the JCO grade at the time of discharge, do not apply; your application will be rejected.
- Accommodation: Selected candidates are mandatorily required to stay in company-provided accommodation.
- OBC Certificates: OBC(NCL) certificates must be issued on or after 01.05.2025 in the prescribed format for Central Govt. posts.
- NOC: Candidates currently working in Govt/PSU must produce a "No Objection Certificate" at the time of document verification.
