Latest Update (April 2026): The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has officially released the recruitment notification for 9195 Constable (Technical, Tradesman, and Pioneer Wing) vacancies.
Eligible male and female candidates who have completed their 10th standard or ITI can submit their online applications from 20 April 2026 to 19 May 2026 strictly through the official recruitment portal at rect.crpf.gov.in.

Selection Process – CRPF Tradesman 2026
Stage 1: Physical Tests (PET & PST)
Candidates will first undergo physical measurements and running events. This stage is qualifying in nature. Pregnant female candidates will be declared temporarily unfit.
Stage 2: Computer Based Test (CBT)
• 100 Multiple Choice Questions for 100 Marks (2 Hours Duration).
• Subjects: General Intelligence & Reasoning (25), General Knowledge (25), Elementary Math (25), English/Hindi (25).
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
• Qualifying Marks: UR - 30%, EWS/OBC - 25%, SC/ST - 20%. Merit lists are generated based on normalized CBT marks.
Stage 3: Trade / Skill Test
Practical assessment of the specific trade applied for. It carries 50 marks, out of which candidates must score a minimum of 20 marks to qualify.
Stage 4: Document Verification (DV) & Medical Examination
Verification of original Matriculation, ITI, Domicile, Caste, and Trade certificates followed by a Detailed Medical Examination (DME) to assess medical fitness.

CRPF Tradesman 2026 – Important Instructions (Prevent Form Rejection!)
Ensure you strictly follow these guidelines to avoid application cancellation:
- Accurate Domicile Selection: You must select your State/UT of domicile very carefully. Your final document verification will strictly check your original Domicile Certificate against your application. Any mismatch will lead to immediate rejection.
- Trade Selection is Final: A candidate can apply for only ONE trade. Multiple applications from the same candidate will result in the cancellation of all submitted forms.
- Document Uploads: Ensure your passport-size photograph is recent, clear, and without caps or spectacles. Blurred photos or distorted signatures will cause automatic form rejection by the system.
- Hard Copies Not Required: You do not need to send the physical printout of the application form to any CRPF office. Keep it safely with you for the Document Verification stage.
- Admit Card Rules: Admit cards will not be sent by post. You must download them from the portal and carry exactly two color printouts of the admit card to the examination center, along with a valid original Photo ID bearing your Date of Birth.
