Final Merit List
The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the Computer Based Test (CBT) only for all categories (i.e., GENERAL, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, etc.) separately and rank will be awarded to all qualified applicants. While preparing the merit list for the General category, all applicants (including those from the reserved categories) will be considered, but for reserved categories, only applicants of that category will be considered.
Resolution of Tie
Tie breaking rules will be as follows:
- Total marks of the tied Candidates
- Date of birth of the tied Candidates. (Older candidate shall be placed higher on the merit list)
- Number of wrong answers/ negative marks of the tied candidates. (Candidates with fewer number of wrong answers/ negative marks shall be placed higher on the merit list)
- Total marks in the 'core' section of the examination conducted. (Candidates with higher marks in the core section shall be placed higher on the merit list)
- For example, in the examination referred to above, 60% questions pertained to the core subject Syllabus.
- 'Core' section would be defined by the Examination Cell of KSSSCI for each exam, as needed.
- Application number of the candidate. (Earlier application number shall be placed higher on the merit list)
Results
All results will be declared on the Institute’s website.
Normalisation of Score
In case of examination for any post held in multiple shifts, then Normalization formula shall be applicable.

General Application Guidelines for KSSSCI Recruitment
- Aspiring applicants satisfying eligibility criteria in all respect can submit their applications in online mode only. On-line application(s) will be available on KSSSCI, Lucknow websites (https://cancerinstitute.edu.in/). The candidature of such applicants who fail to complete the online application submission within the stipulated date and time will not be considered and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
- Applicants must fulfil all essential eligibility criteria, educational qualification, age limit as per appended Guidelines.
- Individual application and application fee is required to be submitted/remitted for each post(s) separately, in case of a candidate applying for more than one post.
- On-line Registration and submission process schedule will be published on Institute’s website. Examination will be conducted according to the published schedule. Candidates are advised to visit Institute’s website for the detailed schedule of the Examination.
- As per Acts and GOs on Reservation of Government of Uttar Pradesh, the number of reserved vacancies may change in accordance with the prescribed/policy directions in the Ordinances/Orders.
- Reservation policy of Uttar Pradesh State Government shall be applicable.
- The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (as amended from time to time), the Uttar Pradesh Public Services, (Reservation for Physically Handicapped, Dependent of Freedom Fighters and Ex-Servicemen) Act, 1993, dated 29.12.1993 and (Amendment) Act 2018 dated 01.09.2018 & (Amendment) Act 2021 vide Notification No. 450 (2/LXXIX-V-1-21-1-ka-12-21 Lucknow dated 10.03.2021 shall apply for the Horizontal reservation and will be applicable to the advertised posts. Horizontal reservation in female category will be applicable only on identified posts.
- Before applying, candidates must read the mandatory qualifications (academic) and others prescribed for vacant posts and must ensure that they hold the required mandatory qualification (educational) and other for the post and only those who are covered under the prescribed age limit can apply online.
- It is mandatory for the candidate to tick the requested post while registering; otherwise, his/her application will not be accepted.
- The number of vacancies mentioned in the above table may increase or decrease. In case of lesser number of candidates for the said posts, the competent authority reserves the right to conduct the offline Examination for said posts.
- In case of Divyang candidates requiring scribe/writer for taking the examination, the government rules will apply, as per G.O.F. No. 29-6/2019-DD-III/ dated 10.08.2022 & F. No. 34-02/2015-DD-III/dated 29.08.2018, issued by Government of India, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan). The candidates should arrange his/her own scribe/writer. KSSSCI or Examination body will not be able to provide a scribe/writer for this exam.
- No document including printed/ hard copy of online application forms are required to be sent by post. However, applicants are advised to keep one printed / hard copy of their application forms with themselves.
- Applicants in regular employment must submit a “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” from employers at the time of document verification. Without the said NOC, the candidature will not be considered for appointment under any circumstances.
- Candidates with valid application shall be issued an admit card. These can be downloaded by candidates directly from Institute’s website https://cancerinstitute.edu.in/ by entering their registration number / application number. Admit Card will be uploaded on the website of the Institute and no further mode of information to candidates is admissible other than admit card. This facility would be available on the website accordingly as per the published schedule of examination.
- No TA/DA shall be admissible for appearing in Written Test / Skill Test/ Interview.
- All Disputes/differences or litigations shall be subject to territorial jurisdiction of Lucknow Court only.
- Director KSSSCI, Lucknow reserves the right to fill any or all of advertised posts or not to fill same without assigning any reason thereof.
- All selections made against a specific advertisement shall be applicable only for that specific advertisement, and wait list would be prepared as per the provisions of the State (UP) Government in this regard.
- Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
- Higher qualification/degree will not be a ground for disqualification for any post.
