Selection Process for Various Posts in RITES

  • Written Test: 125 objective questions, 2.5 hours, no negative marking, extra 50 minutes for PwBD. Minimum marks: 50% for UR/EWS, 45% for reserved categories.
  • Document Scrutiny & Verification: Based on written test results, document verification follows.
  • Interview: Ratio 1:6, weightage: Written Test (60%), Interview (40%). Minimum marks for interview: 60% for UR/EWS, 50% for others.
RG/10/25 Assistant Manager (HR)
  • Written Test: Same criteria as for Finance.
  • Document Scrutiny & Verification: Similar process as for Finance.
  • Interview: Similar interview process as for Finance.
RG/09/25 Section Officer (Finance)
  • Written Test: 125 questions, 2.5 hours, no negative marking, extra time for PwBD. Minimum marks: 50% for UR/EWS, 45% for reserved categories.
  • Document Scrutiny: Document check based on written test performance.
  • Selection: Based entirely on written test performance (100%).

Venue & Time:

  • Written Test: To be conducted at 6 different locations across India. Candidates choose two preferences, final center allocation by RITES.
  • Test Centers: Delhi/Gurgaon, Kolkata, Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Guwahati (subject to number of candidates).

How to Apply For RITES Recruitment 2025

  • Eligibility Confirmation: Before applying, candidates should ensure they satisfy the necessary conditions and requirements of the position.
  • Online Application: Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria must apply online via the Career Section of the RITES website.
  • Registration Number: Upon submitting the online application, a 'Registration No.' will be generated. Note this number for all further communications with RITES Ltd.
  • Identity Proof: While filling the application, correctly input details of “Identity Proof”. This must be produced in original at later stages if called for selection.
  • Application Process:
    • After filling the "Fill/Modify Application Form", upload required documents.
    • Proceed to "Make Payment" where the fee details based on your category will be shown.
    • Applications without successful fee payment will be rejected.
  • Document Upload: Scanned copies of documents must be clear and uploaded on the RITES website for a successful application. This includes:
    • Experience certificates to support claims made in the application.
    • Proof of CTC/salary like Form No. 16, salary slip, etc., to be produced on interview day.
  • Reservation Categories:
    • SC/ST/OBC-NCL: Furnish Caste Certificates in formats given in Annexure I (SC/ST) or II (OBC-NCL). OBC-NCL certificates must indicate non-creamy layer status with the latest updates.
    • EWS: Provide Income and Asset Certificate as per the Government of India format, valid as on the crucial date.
    • Candidates will have an opportunity to submit valid certificates during joining, but failure to do so will result in treatment as UR candidates.
  • Document Submission: Hard copies of documents should not be sent via post or courier. Instead, retain a copy of the application form, sign it, and bring it along with self-attested copies of:
    • 2 recent passport size colour photographs
    • High School certificate for Date of Birth
    • All educational and professional qualification certificates with marks statements
    • Caste or EWS certificate (if applicable)
    • Proof of Identity & Address
    • PAN Card
    • Experience certificates
    • PwBD Certificate (if applicable)
    at the time of document verification or interview.
  • Selection Process: Merely applying or qualifying does not guarantee selection. Candidates must fully meet the advertised criteria.
  • Single Application: Submit only one application per vacancy; applications cannot be altered once submitted. A valid email ID is necessary for communication.
  • Transparency: All details in the application must be accurate. Any discrepancies found later can lead to rejection.
  • Departmental & Government Employees: Regular RITES employees apply online with hard copy through proper channel. Others from Government or PSUs must provide NOC at the interview for pay protection benefits.
  • Final Submission: Bring two copies of Annexure A and all documents in chronological order for document verification during the selection process.

  • 7. Training/Internship Period: The period of training/internship shall not be counted towards post-qualification experience.
  • 8. Experience Proof: An offer letter is not considered as proof of experience; candidates must submit joining & relieving orders/experience certificates to claim experience.
  • 9. Legal Jurisdiction: Legal jurisdiction will be Delhi in case of any dispute.
  • 10. Travel Allowance: No fares/TA/DA shall be payable.
  • 11. Eligibility Criteria: Age, experience, and all other eligibility criteria shall be reckoned as on the last date of submission of application (cut-off date).
  • 12. Qualification Date: Date of acquiring the qualification will be the earliest of:
    • (i) Last day of month in which final examination of qualifying degree has been held.
    • (ii) Date of declaration of result.
    • (iii) Date of issuance of marksheet.
    • (iv) Date of issuance of degree.
    No relaxation shall be granted on this account.
  • 13. Specialization Requirement: Where specialization is required in the qualifying degree, candidates must submit a certificate from the University/Institution clearly specifying the specialization.
  • 14. Communication: Any information regarding this recruitment process will be sent to the e-mail address provided by the candidate at registration and/or uploaded on RITES website. Candidates should periodically check the Career section of the website for updates.
