To be eligible for NHPC Non-Executive Recruitment 2025:

• Junior Engineer (Mechanical): Full-time 3-year Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Automation Engineering with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Higher qualifications like B.Tech without Diploma not eligible.
• Junior Engineer (E&C): Full-time 3-year Diploma in Electronics & Communication/Electronics/Electronics & Telecommunication/Electronics & Power/Power Electronics/Electronics & Instrumentation/Instrumentation & Control with 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Higher qualifications like B.Tech without Diploma not eligible.
• Supervisor (IT): Graduate with DOEACC ‘A’ level or 3-year Diploma in Computer Science/IT or BCA/BSc (Computer Science/IT) with 60% marks.
• Senior Accountant: Inter CA Pass or Inter CMA Pass.
• Hindi Translator: Master’s in Hindi with English as an elective or Master’s in English with Hindi as an elective, plus 1-year experience in translation/terminology or teaching in Hindi, or Degree/Diploma in translation.
• Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on October 1, 2025. Relaxations:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
  • PwBD (General): 10 years
  • PwBD (OBC): 13 years
  • PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
  • J&K Domicile (1980-1989): 5 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per Govt. guidelines
• Note: PwBD candidates with 40% disability in identified categories (e.g., Blindness, Low Vision, Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Locomotor Disability) can apply. Final year students are not eligible.

The application fee for NHPC Non-Executive Recruitment 2025 is:

• General/EWS/OBC: ₹708/- (₹600/- + Taxes)
• SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Female: Exempted from Registration Fee

Payment must be made online via the NHPC application portal. Banking charges, if applicable, are to be borne by the candidate. Fees are non-refundable.

The NHPC Non-Executive Recruitment 2025 Selection Process includes:

• Computer Based Test (CBT): 200 marks, 3 hours, objective MCQs with negative marking (¼ mark per wrong answer). For JE (Mechanical, E&C), Supervisor (IT), Senior Accountant: 140 MCQs (Discipline-specific), 30 MCQs (General Awareness), 30 MCQs (Reasoning). For Hindi Translator: 40 MCQs + 10 descriptive questions (Hindi Translation), 30 MCQs (General Awareness), 30 MCQs (Reasoning). Qualifying marks: Gen/OBC/EWS – 40%, SC/ST/PwBD – 35%.
• Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates based on CBT merit undergo document verification and biometric authentication at NHPC Corporate Office, Faridabad.
• Final selection based on CBT performance and successful document verification, followed by a provisional Offer of Appointment.

Note: NHPC reserves the right to cancel or add test centers based on candidate response. Admit cards must be downloaded from nhpcindia.com.

Candidates should keep the following documents ready for the online application:

• Valid email ID and mobile number.
• Matriculation/secondary school certificate as proof of Date of Birth.
• Complete set of mark sheets/certificates in support of qualification.
• Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS, if applicable) in the prescribed format. OBC certificate must be issued within 6 months before registration.
• Disability certificate issued by Competent Authority (if applicable).
• Recent passport-size photograph and signature as per NHPC portal instructions.

Note: Original documents must be produced during Document Verification at NHPC Corporate Office, Faridabad, after qualifying the CBT.

Candidates select three preferred examination centers during the application, but NHPC reserves the right to allot any of these or a nearby center based on administrative feasibility. No changes to the examination center are allowed after application submission. Ensure careful selection during the application process.

Submitting multiple applications may lead to the rejection of all applications. Candidates are advised to submit only one application and verify all details (e.g., email ID, photograph, signature, documents) before final submission. Applications cannot be edited after submission.

The exact date for the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be communicated through the admit card, sent to the candidate’s registered email ID. The exam center will be one of the three cities chosen by the candidate or a nearby center, as decided by NHPC.
