Selection of Candidates

- Final merit list based on combined score (GATE 750 + Skill Test 250 + Interview 175).
- Waiting list prepared as per DoP&T OM dated 13.06.2000.
- Final selection subject to Character & Antecedent verification + Medical examination.
- Appointment temporary; permanent capacity depends on rules in force.

Important Instructions for IB ACIO-II/Tech Recruitment 2025
These instructions are for candidates applying for the Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Technical (ACIO-II/Tech) post under MHA. Read them carefully before filling the online application at www.mha.gov.in or www.ncs.gov.in to avoid rejection.
- All India Service Liability: Candidates willing to serve anywhere in India only need to apply. No request for change of posting will be entertained.
- Selection Process: Based on GATE 2023/2024/2025 score (750 marks) + Skill Test (250 marks) + Interview (175 marks) = Total 1175 marks. No Tier-I/Tier-II written exam.
- Shortlisting: Only 10 times the number of vacancies will be called for Skill Test & Interview at Delhi only based on GATE score.
- Wrong information in any column may lead to the application getting rejected altogether. Candidates are solely responsible for correctness of data.
- Applications should be submitted ONLY through ONLINE mode. No other mode (offline/post) will be accepted.
- Registration window: 25.10.2025 to 16.11.2025 (23:59 Hrs). No extension under any circumstances.
- Fee once paid will NOT be refunded in any case. Application once submitted cannot be withdrawn.
- Application Fee: All candidates → ₹100/- (Processing) | UR/EWS/OBC Male → Additional ₹100/- (Exam Fee) = Total ₹200/- | SC/ST/Female/Ex-Servicemen (reservation eligible) → Only ₹100/-.
- Photo: Recent colour, 35×45 mm, light background, face 70–80%, 100–200 KB jpg only, not older than 12 weeks. Same photo must be used throughout process.
- Signature: Black ink on white paper, 80–150 KB jpg only. Scan signature area only.
- Category once filled cannot be changed. No benefit of other category will be given later.
- Only ONE application per candidate. Multiple applications will lead to cancellation of all applications.
- Keep valid Email ID & Mobile number active throughout recruitment. All communication (call letter, result) via registered email only.
- No hard copy of application or documents to be sent. Applicants are NOT required to submit hard copy.
- Crucial date for age, qualification, certificates: 16.11.2025. Results declared after this date will not be accepted.
- Candidates already in Govt service/PSU must inform employer & produce NOC at Skill Test/Interview.
- Canvassing or bringing outside influence will lead to disqualification.
- Final selection subject to Character & Antecedent verification + Medical examination.
