These instructions are for candidates applying for the Junior Stenographer Recruitment 2025 (Advertisement No. IITR/2/2025) at CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow. Read them carefully before filling the CSIR IITR Online Application 2025.

• The decision of CSIR-IITR in all recruitment matters is final and binding. No correspondence or personal inquiries will be entertained.
• CSIR-IITR reserves the right to analyze examination responses for irregularities. If responses suggest misconduct, your candidature may be cancelled without notice.
• The recruitment process includes a Competitive Written Examination (General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, English Language & Comprehension) and a Proficiency Test in Stenography (qualifying). Final selection is based on written exam performance.
• Providing incorrect information or violating rules at any stage will lead to disqualification. If detected post-appointment, your service may be terminated without notice.
• Candidates from reserved categories (SC/OBC/PwBD) opting for benefits must indicate this in the CSIR IITR Online Application 2025 and provide valid certificates in Central Government format during document verification.
• Ensure uploaded photograph (40-150 KB, JPEG, 3.5x4.5 cm) and signature (40-100 KB, JPEG, 5.0x3.0 cm) are clear. Unclear or mismatched uploads will result in rejection.
• Upload documents as a single PDF, including Birth Certificate (if not in 10th/12th certificate), 10th/12th Marksheets & Certificates, Caste/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen Certificate, and NOC (if applicable). Review and re-upload before final submission if needed.
• After submitting the CSIR IITR Online Application 2025, download and print the form for future reference. No hard copy submission is required unless requested.
• Candidates claiming reservation benefits must present original certificates (e.g., SC/OBC/PwBD) in the prescribed Central Government format during document verification.
• PwBD candidates must submit a valid disability certificate (minimum 40% disability) issued by a competent authority during document verification.
• Age relaxations apply: SC (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD (10 years, 15 for SC, 13 for OBC), Ex-Servicemen (as per GoI rules), Widows/Divorced Women (up to 35 years, 40 for SC). Relaxations are applicable only for reserved posts.
• OBC candidates must provide a certificate with a Non-Creamy Layer clause, issued in FY 2025-26, matching the Central Government list. Creamy layer OBC candidates must apply as General.
• Selected candidates will primarily be posted at CSIR-IITR, Lucknow, but may be transferred to other CSIR Laboratories/Institutes across India as per organizational needs.
• Submit only one application. Multiple applications will lead to rejection of all, with forfeiture of fees for additional registrations.
• Provide an active email address and mobile number. All updates, including call letters, will be communicated via the CSIR-IITR website (www.iitr.res.in). No changes to contact details are allowed post-submission.
• No changes to the CSIR IITR Online Application 2025 (e.g., name, category, contact details) are allowed after final submission.
• Applications with incomplete details, missing documents, or misrepresentation will be rejected at any stage, including post-appointment.
• For technical issues while applying online, refer to the CSIR-IITR career portal (www.iitr.res.in/careers). No personal inquiries will be addressed.
• CSIR-IITR may cancel, modify, or amend the number of vacancies or recruitment process at any time without prior notice or assigning reasons.
• Applicants in government or public sector employment must submit a No Objection Certificate at document verification and be relieved within one month of the appointment offer.
• Canvassing in any form, including unfair means or impersonation, will result in disqualification or termination if detected post-appointment.
• No travelling allowance will be paid for attending the Written Examination or Proficiency Test in Stenography.
• The medium for the Proficiency Test in Stenography (English or Hindi) selected in the application cannot be changed later.
• Candidates must ensure their 10+2/XII results are declared by May 31, 2025, and provide original certificates during verification.
• Selected candidates will be on probation for 2 years, which may be extended or curtailed at CSIR-IITR’s discretion. Confirmation follows successful probation per CSIR rules.
