Important Instructions for BSF Constable Tradesman Recruitment 2025

These instructions are for candidates applying for the BSF Constable Tradesman Recruitment 2025 (3,588 vacancies across trades like Cook, Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Sweeper, Water Carrier, and Waiter). Read them carefully before filling the BSF Application Form 2025 at rectt.bsf.gov.in to ensure compliance with the official notification.

• 🔔 The Border Security Force (BSF) reserves the right to reject or cancel candidature at any stage without prior notice. All decisions of BSF/Ministry of Home Affairs will be final and binding.
• 📋 The selection process includes Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Trade Test, Written Examination, Document Verification, and Medical Examination. Final selection is based on written exam performance, subject to clearing all prior stages.
• 🚫 Furnishing false information or submitting incomplete application forms will lead to rejection or termination at any point, including after appointment.
• 📅 The age limit is 18–25 years as of 25 August 2025. Relaxations: SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), Ex-Servicemen (as per government norms), and other categories (as per BSF rules).
• 📝 Only one application per candidate is allowed, specific to vacancies in their domicile state. Multiple submissions will result in cancellation of all applications.
• 💳 General/OBC/EWS candidates must pay an application fee of ₹100/- + ₹50/- examination fee (Total: ₹150/-). SC/ST/Female candidates are exempted from payment. Fees can be paid via Net Banking, UPI, Debit/Credit Card, or authorized Common Service Centers by 25 August 2025.
• 🖼️ Upload a recent passport-size color photograph and signature in the prescribed format during BSF Apply Online. Unclear or invalid uploads may lead to application rejection.
• 📂 During document verification, candidates must produce original documents: Matriculation certificate, domicile certificate, caste/EWS certificate (if applicable), age proof, photo ID (e.g., Aadhaar), Ex-Servicemen discharge certificate (if applicable), and trade-related certificates (e.g., NSQF Level-I for Cook, ITI for specific trades).
• 📧 Provide a valid and active email ID and mobile number during registration. All communications, including E-Admit Card, exam dates, and result announcements, will be shared via email/SMS or at rectt.bsf.gov.in.
