    Important Instructions for Recruitment of NIELIT STQC Scientific Assistant
    • A candidate must be either: (a) a citizen of India, or (b) a subject of Nepal, or (c) a subject of Bhutan, or (d) a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, intending to settle permanently, or (e) a person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or specified East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam) with the intent to settle permanently.
    • Candidates in categories (b), (c), (d), and (e) must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
    • The cut-off date for calculating age, essential qualifications, and experience is the last date for receiving applications, i.e., 18/03/2025. This date remains unchanged even if the closing date is extended.
    • NIELIT is not responsible for incomplete transactions during online payment. Candidates must ensure the application fee is paid successfully, as it is non-refundable. Check eligibility before paying; only listed qualifications count.
    • All candidates must register only once.
    • Submit only one application. Multiple submissions may lead to rejection or cancellation.
    • NIELIT will communicate via e-mails and SMS using the registered email ID and mobile number. Candidates should regularly check their email/SMS and the NIELIT website for updates.
    • If a candidate provides incorrect or forged/fabricated information, their candidature will be cancelled. If already appointed, their services will be terminated.
    • Candidates must affix a recent color passport-size photograph (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm) on white paper, sign below it (3.5 cm x 1.5 cm) with a black/blue pen, and upload a JPG scan (max 50 KB) of both together, plus a separate signature scan.
    • Upload self-attested scans of a Government-issued ID (e.g., Aadhar, PAN, Passport), category certificate, PwBD certificate, date of birth certificate, and qualification certificates. Reserved category claims require valid certificates obtained before 18/03/2025.
    • Eligibility qualifications must be complete by the cut-off date. Qualifications from Open Universities/Distance Education approved by DEC/AICTE are valid per Gazette Notification No. 44 (1st March 1995).
    • Before final submission, carefully review the online application form. Incomplete or incorrect forms will be rejected.
    • After submission, take a printout of the application form with the application number for future reference.
    • Candidates from Central/State Govt./PSU must provide an NOC at joining, confirming no pending disciplinary/vigilance cases.
    • Withdrawing candidature due to missing information does not allow it to be carried forward for future recruitment.
    • Particulars in the application form are final; no changes will be permitted.
    • No travel allowance or daily allowance will be paid for attending the written test or interview.
